花：枝の先に手毬状に固まってつく

flower: forms a temari ball like shape at the tip of the branch

葉：ゲッケイジュの葉に似ている

leaf: looks similar to laurel

赤く丸い果実は有毒。花の煎じ汁は歯痛・口内炎などに使用。香木の沈香のような香りがします。

Red, round fruits are toxic. Decocted flowers are used for toothache and canker sore. Has great aroma like agilawood.
