クチナシ

乾燥果実は、生薬・漢方薬の原料や着色料など様々な利用があります。初夏の風に乗って甘い香りが漂います。花言葉は「私はとても幸せ」、アメリカで女性をダンスパーティーに誘うときにクチナシの花を贈ることから、誘われた女性の気持ちを表しているともいわれます。

Common gardenia

Dried fruits have various uses such as ingredients for herbal medicines and coloring. The sweet scent travels with the wind in early summer.
