キンギョソウ

花の形が金魚に似ていることから名前が付きました。色は赤、オレンジ、白、黄色、ピンクなど多様で、多くの花を穂状に咲かせ、こぼれ種でよく育ちます。金魚の養殖で有名な愛知県弥富市の市の花にもなっています。花言葉は「涼し気」

The name comes from the shape of flower which resembles a goldfish. There are various colors such as red, orange, white, yellow and pink. Many flowers bloom like spikes and grow well with spilled seeds. It is also a flower in the city of Yatomi City, Aichi Prefecture, which is famous for goldfish farming.
