キキョウ

Balloon flower

It blooms purple, blue, white or pink flower from summer to autumn and the bud looks like a puffy balloon. It is also used as a herbal medicine because it contains a lot of saponin in the root. It is registered as endangered II on the Red List of the Ministry of the Environment. The flower message is "Indomitable heart".
