ハツユキソウ Snow-on-the-mountain

夏になると頂部の葉が白く縁取られて、その姿が雪をかぶったように見えます。茎や葉の切り口から出る白い乳液には毒性があり、肌に付着するとかぶれることがあります。花言葉は「好奇心」

In summer, the top of the leaves are outlined in white which the appearance looks like snow. The white milk that comes from the cuts of the stems and leaves is toxic and can cause skin irritation when touched. The flower message is "curiosity".
