2019.11.27 Wednesday～ハボタン Ornamental kale

Good morning! Today is November 27, 2019, it is going to be another rainy day here in Nagoya, Japan. I could hear the rain last night and I thought how happy all my plants in my little garden are. No picture today.

ハボタン 

重なり合った美しい葉がボタンの花にそっくりです。紅白の色合いがおめでたいとされ、お正月飾りとして親しまれています。花言葉は「物事に動じない」

Ornamental kale

Beautiful leaves that lay on top of each other resemble peony. The red and while colors symbolizes happiness and are used as a ornament at New Years. The flower message is "imperturbable".
