2020.02.03 Monday～ツバキ Camellia

Good morning! Today is February 03, 2020, it is going to be warm sunny day here in Nagoya, Japan. No rain is expected this week but during winter time my plants in my little garden should survive.

ツバキ 

葉は冬になっても咲き続け、朱色の花は春に咲き、散るときに丸ごと落ちます。香りはなく種子からは椿油が取れ、食用や整髪料などに使用されます。花言葉は「控え目な優しさ」

Camellia

The leaves keep blooming through winter and the bright red flowers bloom in spring and the  flower fall down in whole when it withers. It has no scent and the seeds have oil which are edible and used as hair dressing. The flower message is "Humble sweetness".
