2020.02.11 Tuesday～オオイヌノフグリ Persian speedwell

Good morning! Today is February 11, 2020, it is going to be sunny day here in Nagoya, Japan. It seems like it rained yesterday so I am so glad that all my plants in my little garden were watered and the fertilizer I gave my onions on the weekend absolutely soaked into the ground.

オオイヌノフグリ 

青く紫色の筋が入った小粒な花姿がとってもキュートです。4枚に分かれているように見える花は後ろから見ると１つにつながった合弁花です。花言葉は「忠実」

Persian speedwell

It has a cute appearance with purple line on blue flowers. You can see there are four petals but it is a gamopetalous flower so if you look on the back you can see all four petals are connected. The flower message is "Loyalty".
