2020.05.16 Saturday～アケビ Chocolate vine

Good morning! Today is May 16, 2020, it has been raining since last night here in Nagoya, Japan. I headed to my little garden yesterday and my friend gave me coriander which she grows in her garden. I love how it smells and it also goes well with Natto.

アケビ 

果皮と若芽が食用に利用され、秋に実る果実の姿も微笑ましいです。自家不結実性のため異品種を混植して育てます。

Chocolate vine

The fruit rind and the green shoot are edible. Fruits bear in autumn look heartwarming. It is a self-unfruitfulness plant so it should be planted with another breed.
