🌸Flower of the day🌸

Good morning! Today is June 06, 2020, it is another hot sunny day here in Nagoya, Japan. I headed to my little garden this morning and fertilized all my plants and then gave plenty of water. I also harvested some lavenders which are in full bloom and have a wonderful aromatic scent. I thought I could make some dried flower bouquet as a present to my family, but on second thought I think I would make little sachet so they could use it for many purposes such as putting it by the pillow, in the closet, in the purse, etc.

BTY, when I was filling up the watering can, I was thinking maybe it would be better If I sprinkled some fertilizer over my plants first and then loosen up the soil around each plant that way the fertilizer would be mixed well with the soil. Great thinking! I am going to try it next time.

I wanted to take a picture of a beautiful blue sky but just as I was done with my watering and ready to take a picture a man came into the garden and I felt being interrupted. Well, it happens sometimes.

Anise hyssop

Back to today's flower, anise hyssop. Light purple flowers grow upright and have lots of honey which are know as a nectar plant. Leaves have a sweet refreshing fragrance that is used as herbal tea to ease melancholy feeling.
