Yarrow ～ ヤロウ

今日はヤロウを刺繍しました。

Today's embroidery is Yarrow.

●とても 丈夫で色とりどりの花が花壇を彩る

　Yarrow is very strong and the flower has a variety of colors that brighten the garden.

●適した場所： 日当たりと水はけがよく、あまり肥えていない土地

●タネまき期：3月末～4月、９～10月

　Sowing: end of March to April, September to October

●開花期： 7～9月

　Blooming: July to September

●主な効能： 止血、抗炎症作用、収れん作用、発汗作用、花のハーブティーは花粉症・血行促進、

　Efficacy: Stop bleeding, anti-inflammatory effect, styptic effect, perspiration effect, flower herbal tea is good for hay fever, helps blood circulation

●主な用途： フラワーアレンジ、ドライフラワー、葉をハーブティーやローション、鼻血を止める、傷口に生の葉を温湿布にする、鼻血に生の葉をもんで鼻に詰める、染色、若葉はサラダや炒め物に。

　Usage: flower arrangement, dried flower, leaves for herbal tea and skin lotion, stop nose bleeding, raw leaves used as a warm fomentation for the cut and also kneaded raw leaves used as nose blood stanching by putting them in the nostril, dyeing, young leaves are used for salad and fried dishes.

●性質： とても丈夫で繁殖力も強く、やせ地でも日蔭でもよく育つ。地下茎（ランナー）で増える。暑さ・寒さに強く、戸外で越冬。ドライフラワーにしても色が残る。赤、深紅、黄、ピンクなど。

　Character: Yarrow is very strong, propagates easily, grows well both infertile land and in the shade. Propagate by runner. Heat and cold-resistant. Overwinter outside. The colors last even if it is dried. The flowers are in red, deep red, yellow, pink, etc.
